A 78-year-old pensioner Tony Adomako has been killed at the Coconut Guest House in Kumasi in the Ashanti region.

The sad incident occurred Monday evening.

Mr. Adomako who’s resident abroad and owns the Guest House was killed during a power outage in the Kumasi metropolis and died at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital soon after he was rushed to the facility for treatment.
A grand daughter of the deceased, Victoria Hayford told Abusua FM’s Osei Kwadwo that she received a call from the police informing her that her uncle had been stabbed and sent to the emergency unit following which she followed up to the hospital.

She said in a rush she got to the hospital, moments after which she was told by the doctors that her grandfather had died from the stab wounds.

It is not yet clear the motivation for killing the septuagenarian.
