Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars have officially parted ways with their head coach Yusif Abubakar.
The former Hearts of Oak tactician joined Aduana two years ago and led them to the Premier League title last season.
The experience manager confirmed the news to Citi Sports.
“Yes, it’s true we have gone our separate ways but I don’t want to say more for now,”
Aduana’s form in recent months has taken a nosedive with the club picking just one point from the two games they have played in the CAF Confederation Cup group stages.
They failed to qualify for the CAF Champions League and dropped to the Confederations Cup despite acquiring high profile players.
Aduana are currently 14th on the Ghana Premier League but will face Congolese side AS Vita in the CAF Confederations Cup on June 18, 2018, at Dormaa.
