BNI denies hiding facts about JB’s murder

- in Latest in Ghana

The Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) has described as untrue media reports suggesting it was hiding facts on the murder of Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Abuakwa North.

The bureau insists they were rather helping to unravel the circumstances leading to the death of the MP. A few days after the police had arrested Daniel Asiedu aka Sexy Don Don, the first suspect in connection with the killing of the MP (popularly called JB), the BNI took him into its custody and appeared to have taken over the case for further investigations.

Earlier, Daniel Asiedu, the young man who is being held for allegedly killing Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu, New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Abuakwa North in the Eastern Region, says he is now relying on the initial statement he gave to the police.
