E/R: Two cocaine & wee dealers arrested @ Akuapem-Mampong

The Eastern Regional Police Command has arrested two suspected  Narcotic drug dealers at Akuapem Mampong.

The Suspects are Daniel Ansah,40, and Kwabena Adu, 30.

According to the Public Relations Officer of the Eastern Regional Police Command, ASP Ebenezer Tetteh, the suspects were arrested by Akuapem Mampong District Police on March 10, 2018 upon a tip off.

He said when the Police team went to the house of the suspects after their arrest, a search conducted revealed 20 pieces of whitish substance wrapped in brown papers believed to be Narcotics and quantities of dried leaves suspected to be indian hemp also concealed under the bed of suspect – Daniel Ansah.

ASP Tetteh said the suspects have been detained while exhibits are to be forwarded for forensic test to facilitate prosecution.

He urged the Public to continuously collaborate with the Police to provide timely information about suspicious characters to give impetus to the Regional Police Command crime combating strategy to create safer environment for all.
