Fatal accident claims the lives of two sisters in Cape Coast

A gory accident has claimed the lives of two sisters in the Central region.

The accident is said to have happened at Breeze a drinking spot close to St Augustine College.

Reports indicate that, the two sisters were among five occupants of a private vehicle including a mother, her son and his girlfriend.

The car driven by the younger one among the two sisters was reported to have burst a tyre resulting in the accident.

According to eyewitnesses, the driver lost control when the tyre burst leading to the vehicle somersaulting severally before coming to a halt but before other road users rescued the occupants and rushed them to the hospital, the two sisters and the girlfriend of the male occupant died on the spot.

The mother and her son who sustained severe injuries are currently on admission at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital

Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased persons have been deposited at the morgue of the same facility according to the Cape Coast Police.
