Cudjoe Fianoo who is the President of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) says the Anas expose will allow the stakeholders to sanitize our game.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas premiered his investigative piece at the Accra Conference Center which captured some football referees and top administrators involved alleged corrupt practices.

This expose has led to the government placing an injunction on the Ghana Football activities and has also led to the resignation of some top football officials like Kwesi Nyantakyi.

“I think that the GFA has lost its credibility over the years and in order to get this credibility back we need to get a more accountable GFA, a more transparent GFA, a GFA that is accountable to the members,”

“We don’t think that the era that contracts are signed without clubs knowing the ins and outs and their rights and their obligations need to be repeated” he was speaking on Bolgatanga-based A1 Radio.

All football-related activities are currently on hold as the government takes steps to reform our game.

Dr. Kofi Amoah and Oti-Akenteng have been appointed by FIFA to preside over Ghana Football.
