Owner of division one side Bofoakwa Tano, Yaw Boateng Gyan, has vowed to dissolve the club if the government maintains Dr Kofi Amoah and Oti Akenteng who are currently running of Ghana Football.
The two were appointed by FIFA to preside over Ghana Football in the interim as the government continues to take steps in restructuring our game.
The agitated Bofoakwa owner disagrees with the decision because he said the two are not club owners or not affiliated with any local football club hence he believes they are not fit to run Ghana Football.
He has vowed to collapse his team if they are not removed from office.
Speaking to Vision 1 sports, “I will collapse my team Bofoakwa Tano if the government maintains Dr Kofi Amoah and Coach Oti Akenteng to run our football”.
“Oti Akenteng and Kofi Amoah have no club, what exactly are they going to do , I will not let Nana Addo impose anything on me.” he added
Dr Kofi Amoah and Coach Oti Akenteng were tasked to liaise between FIFA and CAF to ensure Ghana is able to participate in all international competitions as the government continues to take steps to reform Ghana football.
Currently, all official football-related activities are on a halt in Ghana.
