The Church of Pentecost(Dome New-town English Assembly), Youth Ministry yesterday organized “Singles Talk” dubbed “Touching Him/ Her without A Touch”.

The single’s talk was targeted at the youth on how to handle themselves in a relationship and also to stay chaste until marriage.

The guest speakers for the occasion were Counselor Victor Oppong Kyekyeku Jnr .CEO of Inspire Technologies and Deaconess Hilda Tuffour a Teacher.

Mrs Tuffour who touched the heart of the youth said ” touch is the first sense we acquire when we are born, and added that, that kind of touch is a motherly touch.

She furthered on to state the forms of touch as sexual touch and non-sexual touch, and explained that sexual touch stirs up desires while non sexual touch does not not.

Mrs Tuffour backed her statement with scriptures from the book of 1st Corinthians 6:9-19, 1st Corinthians 7:1 to make the youth aware of what the Bible says concerning our sexual lives.

” Not everyone will marry, let your life of celibacy glorify God”, she said and backed it with scriptures from the book of Matthew 9: 12, and 1st Corinthians 6:13.

Counselor Victor on his part advised the youth on how to create a good friendship relation with their partners.

He added that relationship must have set goals and both parties should work towards it.

“Sex and romance is not purity before God, that youth should have a self-control or better still get prepared to marry” he said and added that both individuals should be able to give words of encouragement to themselves and love each other with the love of Christ.
