UEW shut down indefinitely following students violent protest

The Regional Security Council, REGSEC, has shut down indefinitely the University of Education, Winneba-UEW following the continuous protest from students for the reinstatement of some sacked lectures today March 14.

Some students on Tuesday begun a demonstration for the reinstatement some sacked lecturers by Vice Chancellor, Rev. Prof. Afful-Broni.

The Central Regional Minister, Kwamena Duncan announced the closure of the school today.
